Browsers There are many different browsers used to travel the internet. Most websites are developed to work with the most common ones, namely Internet Explorer ( a Microsoft product for either Windows or Mac) or Netscape. However several newer ones have emerged some of which are basically clones or pre-existing browsers that have been modified to handle noted deficiencies. We figure we would list some of the more common ones here, with links to download them, and will reserve reviewing them until we have had some feedback from you our viewers. If you are curious about the differences in the browsers you can download and install the ones you are interested in and then open them in separate windows and view some of our pages (eg. Videos) and see if or what the difference is. Be aware that some of the browsers will attempt to become your default program for certain functions. Watch for this and deny it unless you are sure that you plan to continue using the particular product. It is also a good idea to occasionally check for updates for the one you are using.
