New York
The state of New York  has some of the prettiest countryside found anywhere in USA.  The Allegany  and Catskill mountains rise from the coastal plains and Islands and gives way to the mighty Niagara Falls.

The varied landscaping offers some great camping opportunities and it doesn't get any better than in the mountains.
