Naples is considered to be the winter home of the American elite. It is
located on miles of white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico in SW Florida
almost directly west of Ft Lauderdale and Miami. Naples is a restful
location and is best known as a winter residence, but it is just the place to
unwind while on vacation. See some of the webcams
for this beautiful city.
There is a smattering of attractions in Naples and most have something
to do with nature. Now dining and shopping on the other hand
is well covered by the many upscale shopping districts. Window shopping is
certainly welcome and you will find that strolling these district is a
pleasant way to spend the day. The primary locations are Fifth
Avenue South and Third Street South. Further north, the Village
at Venetian Bay and the Waterside Shops at Pelican Bay, just to
name a few.
The beaches are accessible to the public and most avenues in the
downtown area end at the beach with ample parking. Of course you could
stay at a hotel that has beach access and then be able to walk out your

The entire corner of SW Florida is a great destination in either the
summer or winter and Naples is a great place to venture out to the neighboring
cities of Ft Myers, Sanibel-Captiva, Bonita, and Marco Island.

How to get there: By car you take I-75 or the Tamiami
Trail US 41. Flights arrive at the SW Florida international airport in Ft
Myers and you can complete the last 35 miles +/- by taking either an air
or land shuttle, taxi or limousine into Naples proper.
