As everyone is aware, there is a war and civil unrest
going on in this country, so we will not be covering it as a travel and
activities destination at this time. However we are anxiously awaiting the time
when it is safe to encourage travel to this area. The archeological treasures of
the region and the history, would make for an extremely interesting journey.
To familiarize yourself with the lay of the land per se, we

Sandstorm
approaching Al Asad, Air Base - No special effects this is the real
thing.
Remember
in the movie "The Mummy" where they are attempting to out
run a wall of sand as a sandstorm approaches. It seemed quite
unbelievable but that is just how it is, as many US troops in Iraq are
finding out.
