Bordered on the South by the Great Lakes,
on the North by the frigid Hudson Bay, to the East by
the predominantly French speaking province of Quebec and to
the West the plains of Manitoba.
Ontario is a cultural and industrial center in the mid east
region of Canada. The business district boast of it's being the
Canadian equivalent of New York City, And has the Toronto Stock
exchange where most Canadian securities are traded. But it is
the land and the people that make Ontario great.
The diversity of people (because of Canada's generous
immigration policies) results in the imprint of their many
cultures. You can find restaurants and ethnic food stores that
represent all regions of the world. The natural country
side is known for it's unspoiled lakes and streams and the world
class Muskie fishing.
Hunting,
Camping,
cycling
and hiking
are all favorite sport here as is the winter sport of cross
country skiing
and snowmobiling.
Here are some other useful links for Muskie fishing in
Ontario.

 Try
your hand at gold mining in the Timmins Ontario region at the Hollinger
Gold Mine. Here you can tour the mine and
absorb the pain and tribulations that the miners went through
just to extract a tiny nugget out of some of the hardest quartz
rock. Back when the mine was operational the price of gold was
less than a tenth of what it is now.
