        Canada                      The flag of Canada

The 2nd largest country in the world, has vast wilderness areas and a government with a mind set that makes for a "hands on" type of vacation. You will find more  recreational cyclists, free campgrounds and RVs  per capita than anywhere else in the  New World. This is not to say that there is no culture, but quite the contrary. This is a country that is home to native Indians, Eskimos and an immigrant derived population and all have imprinted their cultures in the country. There are are number of breathtaking National Parks and many attractions that rival anything found anywhere else in the world.

Canada has some of the greatest National Parks anywhere. You can access these either by the Province that each park is in or by the name of the park in Alphabetical order.
Along with National Parks there are many Historic sites that you will find interesting. There are two National Marine Parks in Canada that should be visited when you are in the vicinity.

US passports may not be necessary at this time to visit Canada.
For updates on when changes in this travel policy for Americans will be implemented, please visit the US Department of State.
See entry requirement for visitor from all Nations
If you are an "EXTENDED" family you need to have a letter of consent from an absent parent or a legal paper indicating you have legal custody of the children entering Canada with you.

See   Provincial Attractions and Towns  province by province. These may include The Parks featured above but also additional items that should be considered when planning a visit anywhere in Canada.

Skiing in Canada is second to none and has some of the greatest resorts and back country skiing anywhere in the world. Both Alberta and British Columbia boasts some of the most popular ski destinations  and offer the elusive deep fresh powder skiing, accessed by either the typical ski lift at Kicking horse, by helicopter to some of the most remote locations and by snow cat. Every avid skier dreams of these conditions and they are available to those who visit the fantastic ski regions.
