The Bahamas have taken a real beating from both Hurricane Frances and Jeanne.  Make your plans to visit the Islands as they could really use the tourist dollar right now.

Current News for the Islands of the Bahamas

There are 14 main islands of the Bahamas and many more out islands, (reportedly 700 islands) some of which are privately owned.

These little Jewels are just off the East coast of  Florida and can be easily reached by cruise ships out of Ft. Lauderdale or Miami or by air or even private boat. These islands are famous for their climate, clear waters and scuba diving. Most of the activities in the Bahamas center around the water and is always just a short distance from anywhere on any of the islands. You can rent a Dinghy, a Yacht, Jet Ski or Hobe Cat  or charter a tour boat, whatever your preference.

Consider some of the other available activities:
Beaches   Bicycling    Boating   Cricket Dining    Eco Adventure  Fishing   Flying   Gambling  Golf   Parasailing  Snorkeling    Scooter touring   Tennis   Windsurfing

Golfing is most enjoyable here with the ocean breeze helping to keep you cool. Several of the courses are designed by renowned planners such as  Dick Wilson, Joe Lee and Jim-McCormick. We have included a page with the information for each of these so you can reserve your tee times. Who says you aren't a swinger?

  Enjoy
