OK so now you
want to take part in some of the activities featured in this site and you
need some gear, but what gear is the best for what you want to do?
We are contacting manufacturers of the
various equipment to inform them of our intent to test their products in
both a bench test and in real world situations. They will be tested against
a variety of situations and also compared to how they rate against other
models of their own products and those of other manufacturers.
The test equipment will (if it is still
usable and the manufacturers don't request that it be returned) be offered
on our "Giveaways" page and awarded to the viewers of this
website through various different programs. In fact if we find that
there is an exceptional interest in a particular item, we may
replace the items after they are awarded just to give others a chance to
win in the future.
Be sure to check out our evaluations
before buying. That is not to say that you should only buy the top rated
items as all have some qualities that may make them more desirable for
your particular needs.
Testing takes quite a while, especially
for the real world part of the test but we are working hard to get this
information out to you as soon as possible. |
